This course explores peer and self-assessment as a teaching strategy that empowers students to evaluate their own work and that of their peers. The approaches explored can support and encourage students to take ownership of their learning, identify strengths and areas for improvement, and provide constructive feedback. The session will explore the importance of providing clear guidelines and criteria, how to develop assessment skills, and how to promote effective communication during peer-to-peer evaluation.
