Teacher License-Module 0

This training programme, “Teacher License – Educational Test,” aims to empower teachers, enhance education in the UAE, and align the teaching workforce with the goals of the UAE Vision 2021 and international best practices. Participants will undergo intensive training courses to pass the educational test, a crucial requirement for obtaining a teacher’s license. The programme deepens their understanding of UAE teaching standards, ensuring teachers possess professional competencies at all career levels.

This enables effective practice, self-development, utilization of creative talents, and imparting knowledge to students. The programme comprises four courses: Professional and Ethical Behaviour, Professional Knowledge, Professional Practice, and Professional Development.

This programme aspires to:

  • Assess teachers’ competency in subject matter, pedagogical approaches, and instructional strategies.
  • Encourage ongoing professional development through training and workshops.
  • Foster reflective practice to improve teaching methods and student outcomes.
  • Provide strategies for creating a positive learning environment, managing behavior, and promoting student participation.
  • Develop skills in diverse assessment techniques and using data for instruction.
  • Emphasize ethical conduct, respect for diversity, and inclusive classrooms.
  • Enhance cultural competence and integrate responsive teaching practices.
  • Cultivate collaborative and leadership skills for effective teamwork.

Certification: ATA Certificate of Attendance

How the course is assessed: Attendance to the session and completion of the evaluation and reflection is mandatory to complete the course and receive a certificate of attendance.
