This course will provide participants with the space to explore resources and activities that can be designed to make their phonics sessions more engaging for their students. The course is a practice exploration of ideas, reflections and collaborative discussion to improve the quality of teaching and learning of Phonics.
Course objectives
- To understand how students learn phonics.
- To explore and evaluate ideas and activities to support engagement.
- To create a plan for a phonics session.

How the course is assessed: Attendance to the session and completion of the evaluation and reflection is mandatory to complete the course and receive a certificate of attendance.
