Posted by : admin | On : July 26, 2023This course will explore the different kinds of questions we can utilise as part of a teacher tool kit to support, scaffold, and extend student’s thinking and learning. Participants will explore how BLOOMS taxonomy can serve as an effective resource to ensure questions are targeted and differentiated for different learner groups. Participants will have the opportunity to explore a variety of resources, materials and online platforms that can be used to support with effective questioning in the context of a physical and virtual classroom.

- Experiment and reflect on questioning tools and strategies for implementation.

How the course is assessed: Participants will be encouraged to implement a strategy or resource taken from the session. Participants will be invited to a follow-up session to showcase the strategies and resources they have implemented with a professional discussion around efficacy and impact on student outcomes and learner motivation.
Prerequisites: This course is suitable for any practitioner who would like to further enhance their questioning strategies as part of their formative assessment practices.
