This course highlights the ever-changing world of social media, the internet, and online activities that children are exposed to, and the risks associated when using the internet. This course also provides good practices to protect organisations and individuals.
Course objective
- Understand technology and behaviour.
- Identify why children are spending time online.
- Risks associated with the internet.
- Know the different types of online content.
- Understand why a safe online culture is important.
- Know how to promote good practice to staff and students.
