The health & safety course will help you support your school in achieving a safe environment for students to learn in. The course will focus on the management of risk, how to work safely and how to minimise accident and incidents in the workplace.
Course objective
- Understand your role in health & safety in the workplace.
- Identify the benefits of good health & safety.
- Identify the definitions of ‘risk’, ‘hazard’ and ‘control measure’.
- Understand the importance of reporting accidents & incidents.
- Know the meaning of ‘duty of care’.
- Identify the hierarchy of risk.
