Due to the nature of First Aid, illness and injuries can arise at any time and this course equips you with the basic skills required to handle day-to-day situations and potential life-threatening situations. Involved staff working in a school setting are required to have a basic understanding of the first aid essentials for international schools.
Course objective
- Understand the principles of first aid.
- Know the roles of a first aider.
- Know the differences between an adult, child and infant.
- Identify when to call the emergency services.
- Identify when CPR is required.
- Know how to handle minor incidents.
- Know how to handle major incidents.
- Understand how and when to complete an incident report form.

Classroom Assistants, Teachers, Middle Leaders, Senior Leaders, Manager, Operations Staff.
