Child Protection and Safeguarding

This course covers the health, safety and welfare of children in an educational setting and provides information specific to international schools. Annual child protection and safeguarding training is mandatory for all members of a school community and ensures that all adults who interact with children understand their responsibilities towards child safety and wellbeing and know how to respond in the event of a disclosure or report of concern.

Course objectives

Raise your awareness of abuse and neglect.
Help you to recognise early signs that might indicate a problem.
Show you how to respond if you know or suspect that a child or young person needs help.
Provide guidance on professional working practice to safeguard students
