Annual child protection and safeguarding training is mandatory for all members of a school community and ensures that all adults who interact with children understand their responsibilities towards child safety and wellbeing and know how to respond in the event of a disclosure or report of concern.
Course objectives
- Raise your awareness of abuse and neglect.
- Help you to recognise early signs that might indicate a problem.
- Show you how to respond if you know or suspect that a child or young person needs help.
- Provide guidance on professional working practice to safeguard students
