ATA have partnered with Queen Rania Teaching Academy in Jordan to offer leadership development to MOE Staff within Aldar Education.

What is Queen Rania Teaching Academy?

Queen Rania Teacher Academy (QRTA), a nonprofit organization founded in 2009, is dedicated to Her Majesty Queen Rania Al Abdullah’s vision of assisting and empowering educators with the knowledge and abilities to develop into hardworking, creative professionals who are prepared to guide and nurture future generations.

The professional development programs that QRTA offers are cutting-edge and evidence-based, taking into account both local best practices and recent advances in the industry. Since its beginnings, the academy has offered teachers and school administrators beneficial opportunities for professional growth, reaching over 90,000 professionals through its numerous programs.

What is the Leadership Programme offered in collaboration with QRTA?

The Advanced Instructional Leadership Professional Diploma (AILPD) was introduced by QRTA in 2016. The University of Jordan awards the AILPD, which was created in partnership with the University of Connecticut (UCONN) and is based on the Public Education Leadership Project (PELP), which was started at Harvard University in 2003 by the Business and Education Schools.

The Jordanian Ministry of Education has accredited AILPD.

Through the incorporation of the top international techniques in instructional leadership, the twenty-four credit hour, nine month certificate aims to make significant changes in leadership practices.

The Diploma aims to:

  • Improve your conceptual grasp of instructional leadership so you can express the organization’s vision and direct learning to realize it.
  • Develop methods for school improvement through a comprehensive study of curriculum, instruction, and assessment techniques, teacher development, culture, and school organization.
  • Apply new knowledge to your work immediately in the classroom, and establish a networked improvement community where you may reflect on your own progress and give one another constructive criticism.
