It has benefited our School Counsellors and Heads of Inclusion, equipping them with the skills and knowledge necessary to ensure their parent workshops and professional development sessions are accessible, well structured, and engaging. The importance of maintaining clear and measurable learning outcomes, while integrating interactive and collaborative tasks to address different learning styles was demonstrated. A range of practical strategies and applications to enhance participation were provided for use in both in-person sessions and when delivering using online platforms. Attendees developed an understanding of how to monitor the impact of training and gather feedback to identify areas of development for the course or delivery. Completing BAT has raised the confidence of our team when delivering sessions to adults and provides a toolkit of resources that will improve both the quality and structure of future training, maximising the engagement and benefit to participants. I would recommend BAT to anyone wishing to enhance their skills in developing and delivering high quality training for adult learners.
