Meet the Team

During my 28 years in education I have performed a wide variety of roles ranging from classroom teacher, Vice Principal, Director of Post 16 and Director of Teaching and Leading across schools in both the UAE and UK. I have had the opportunity to work not only with OFSTED but KHDA and ADEK inspecting schools.

As Academic Director for ATA, I have immersed myself in schools and the pursuit of improving student teaching and learning whether that is in the UK or in the UAE. I am passionate about international education and the pedagogy, leadership of learning and curriculum modelling in this setting. I have both taught and led in UK and IB curriculum schools and, more recently, the US curriculum. I love the diverse nature of my job, which allows me to work with educators, parents and students from all over the world.

Both myself, and the ATA team are excited to work alongside you to further develop and enhance teaching and learning and school effectiveness across the Aldar schools and beyond.
