Middle Leadership Programme (2023) (Tier 4)

Course Description

This programme is designed to provide a firm foundation in the fundamentals of leadership practice. If you are a first-time middle leader or an experienced one who has had limited training or support this programme will provide you with the understanding and practical steps to develop your leadership skills. The programme uses a blended learning approach whereby most of the ML schedule is dedicated to modules which will develop strong leadership behaviours and provide practical targeted tasks which carefully compliment and embed leadership practices with a focus on reflection and continuous improvement.

The course has been developed from the collective experience and knowledge of practitioners and educators who are experts in developing leaders.

Course Objectives

• Develop leadership skills and competencies inline the latest research and practice;
• Train leaders who possess an understanding of the skills and attributes required to be an outstanding practitioner;
• Provide leaders with the necessary strategies to design and lead change initiatives.

Competencies

Certification

Following the successful completion of the course, including all Apply tasks, participants will be awarded the ATA Certificate of Professional Development.
