How to use Generative AI in education
The “How to use Generative AI in education” training session aims to equip educators with the knowledge and skills needed to integrate generative AI technologies into their teaching practices. As AI continues to transform the educational landscape, it is essential for teachers to stay current with these advancements and leverage them to enhance student learning experiences.
This interactive and informative session will introduce participants to the concept of generative AI and its various applications in the educational setting. Teachers will learn how generative AI tools, such as language models and chatbots, can be used for personalised learning, automated assessment, and collaborative projects. The session will also discuss the ethical considerations and potential challenges associated with the use of AI in schools and propose some possible solutions as to how to overcome these.
Through hands-on activities, participants will explore popular generative AI tools, experiment with their features, and identify ways to implement them in their classrooms. Teachers will also engage in discussions and collaborate with their peers to share best practices and brainstorm creative ideas for integrating AI into their lesson plans and curricula.
By the end of the training session, educators will have gained valuable insights into the potential of generative AI to transform teaching and learning. They will be equipped with practical strategies to harness the power of AI in their classrooms, fostering innovation, engagement, and personalised learning experiences for their students.
