ENGLISH LANGUAGE DELIVERY
Becoming a trainer is a two-part training course that focuses on developing participants skills, knowledge and understanding of how to plan and deliver an effective, purposeful, and impactful course or training course.
Course objectives
- Identify the key components of an effective workshop/training course.
- Create an outline for a prospective workshop/training course.
- Explore and determine learner and trainer styles.
- Develop an understanding of how adults learn so to enhance learner retention.
- Consider follow-up in terms of monitoring impact and informing next steps that will drive change.
Target Audience: Teachers, Middle Leaders, Senior Leaders, Managers
Certification: ATA Certificate of Attendance & ACTVET Accreditation
How the course is assessed: By the end of Day 1 participants will have completed a full course outline that will serve to scaffold the creation of their physical workshop. At the end of Day 2 a takeaway toolkit will be provided to support the participant when planning the technical and logistical considerations which are paramount to the success of an effective workshop be it online or face-to-face.
A bespoke feedback and consultancy session is included in the workshop.
All participants will receive a ‘Certificate of Attendance’ and those who reach the required standard in the assessments will be awarded with the accreditation.
Prerequisites: Participants should be an expert in the field they would like to train others in. They must bring a workshop concept to the training.
