ENGLISH LANGUAGE DELIVERY

The course will allow ML’s to identify the importance of coaching conversations and be able to identify when they can be strategically used to develop others. You will develop coaching skills and techniques throughout the course and be empowered to use coaching strategies appropriately.

Course objectives

To gain an understanding of what coaching is and the different contexts in which coaching can be used
To gain an understanding of what coaching isn’t
To explore where coaching fits in on the spectrum
To identify the situations where coaching is best to implement
To discuss and review the coaching process between coach and coachee

Target Audience: Middle Leaders

Certification: Tier 4 Middle Leadership Certificate of Professional Development with transcript will be awarded to participants upon completion.

How the course is assessed: Participants will complete a reflective task on developing coaching conversations.

Prerequisites: Participants should already be enrolled on the ATA Middle Leadership Programme
